Bengaluru: A 38-year-old man, Abbas S from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has gone missing after landing from Abu Dhabi at the city’s Kempegowda International Airport on May 22. Abbas has been working in Abu Dhabi as a car alignment worker for the last 15 years.Abbas used to regularly visit his native place and return to Abu Dhabi after spending time with family and friends. He was under mental stress for the last 8-10 days and had informed his family that he would return home soon, according to police complaint filed by his father, Shahul Ameed I.Abbas boarded a flight from Abu Dhabi and landed at KIA around 6.05am on May 22. He called and informed his wife that he had missed his connecting flight to Coimbatore and would be delayed. He also told her that his mobile phone battery was running low. Since then, his phone has remained switched off, and he has not contacted the family again.After searching for him in vain, the man’s family approached KIA police and filed a missing person complaint.
