Times News NetworkKanpur: Special judge Pocso Act /additional session judge court room number 20 Pawan Kumar Rai on Friday sentenced a man to five years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed fine of Rs 80,000 under various sections of Indian penal code and Pocso Act for trying to outrage modesty of a minor girl.According to special prosecutor the matter was reported by the father of victim .He had stated that accused had tried to outrage the modesty of his minor daughter in February,2019. Later accused tried to forecfully enter his house and once again tried to misbehave with the girl but other two daughters forced accused to leave the house. The victim stated that on the day when she was coming to court accused had offered a sum of Rs 2 lakhs to withdraw the FIR.
