Lucknow: A 39-year-old man allegedly died by suicide at his home in Indiranagar on Tuesday, police said.Police said that the man took the extreme step while his wife had gone to a nearby temple. Police said the couple frequently argued over domestic issues. According to the victim’s family, he left the house after a fight with his wife on Sunday but returned after being persuaded by his family. “Around 9pm on Tuesday, he ended his life while his wife went to a nearby temple. Upon her return, she took him to a hospital where doctors pronounced him dead,” a police officer said. The couple has two daughters.ACP, Ghazipur, Anindya Vikram Singh said that the body was sent for postmortem examination and further proceedings are underway. TNN
