Kulgam, Sep 10 : A 46-year-old man died after falling from a walnut tree while plucking walnuts in the Jaibal Lammer area of Kulgam district, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the man sustained serious injuries in the fall and was shifted to a hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased was identified as Mukhtar Ahmad Najar (46), son of Ghulam Nabi Najar, a resident of Jaibal Lammer.
Meanwhile, an inquiry has been initiated and an investigation has been taken up.—(KNO)
