COIMBATORE: Race Course police in the city have begun investigations after a 30-year-old married woman lodged a complaint alleging that a man, who is her relative, had repeatedly harassed her sexually.In her complaint, the woman said the 36-year-old man had been frequently speaking to her on the phone. Her husband objected to their conversations and warned her against speaking to her relative.However, the relative continued to contact her on the phone. When she had stopped answering his calls, he contacted her using different phone numbers and harassed her, she stated in her complaint.The woman lodged a complaint with Race Course police on Tuesday. Police registered a case under Section 75 of BNS read with Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.
