Bhubaneswar: Nayapalli police here on Thursday arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly kidnapping a 15-year-old girl and marrying her illegally. Police said the girl’s parents filed a complaint on Wednesday after she went missing the previous day. During investigation, CCTV footage revealed the accused’s involvement. “He has been booked on charges of kidnapping and under relevant provisions of the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006,” a police officer said.
