Malda: Thirty-seven-year-old Kabil Sk of Old Malda’s Madhaipur village died by suicide after his name was deleted from the voter list, his family said. Kabil was founding hanging from a poll 500 metres from his home on Monday morning.Sources said Kabil’s name was removed in the supplementary list published on Sunday. Bulbuli Khatun, his wife, said after the list came out, Kabil stopped speaking. “He went out in the evening to never return.”TMC’s Malda candidate Lipika Burman Ghosh said Kabil could not bear the pain and blamed EC for his death.
