Brutal Sharks cricket team emerges champion beating Alpha Royals in the final

Jaipur: The Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur (MNIT) Alumni Premier League concluded with a grand finale at the Mansarovar Cricket Academy here recently.A total of five teams participated in the cricket league, which began on May 15, showcasing intense competition and sportsmanship.In the final match played on May 17, Brutal Sharks performed brilliantly and defeated Alpha Royals in a one-sided fashion to win the title.Batting first, Alpha Royals were bowled out for 68. In response, Brutal Sharks easily achieved the target, scoring 69 runs in just 9.1 overs and capturing the trophy.Ritesh Maheshwari, who captivated everyone with his impressive all-round performance throughout the tournament, was named Man of the Series. He played a crucial role in his team’s success by consistently performing impressively with both bat and ball.Brutal Sharks’ captain Amit Goyal played a captain’s innings for the team and received the trophy after a resounding victory.Dr Jagdish Chandra, CMD of First India News, attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. He met the players of the winning and runner-up teams and encouraged them. He appreciated this unique effort of the MNIT alumni. Advocate Lalit Sharma was also present during the event. League organiser Ankush Chaudhary and alumnus Ankur Sharma expressed their gratitude to everyone for the successful event.
