Nagpur: The Maharashtra govt will launch a three-day statewide outreach programme next month aimed at delivering welfare benefits and resolving long-pending revenue-related issues for nearly 50 lakh families.The campaign, titled the ‘Maharajswa Abhiyan’, will be held from July 21 to July 23 to coincide with CM Devendra Fadnavis’ birthday. The initiative was announced by revenue minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule after a high-level review meeting on the implementation of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Maharajswa Abhiyan.Among the key components of the campaign are large-scale land measurement camps for gaothan lands, where citizens will receive on-the-spot maps and documentation support. The department has set a target of completing land measurements within 15 days and expediting land titling and registration processes.The govt also plans to implement stamp duty concessions and expand citizen-friendly initiatives such as the ‘One District One Registry’ programme during the campaign period.
