Coastal Kings Mangaluru scored an emphatic eight-wicket victory over Shivamogga Yodhas in a rain affected match of the DACSS Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 cricket tournament here on Sunday (June 28, 2026).

The match was reduced to 17 overs a side. Shivamogga Yodhas could manage only 113 for eight, which led to a second successive defeat. Coastal Kings pacer V. Koushik (2/15) and debutant left-arm spinner B.R. Rathan (3/16) came good with the ball. 

Coastal Kings reached the revised target in just 12.4 overs to record a third victory in five matches. The win helped the side move to second spot on the table behind Bengaluru Blasters.

Coastal Kings openers M. Venkatesh (45, 25b, 4×4, 3×6) and Nikin Jose (31, 25b, 2×4, 2×6) added 81 runs in just 7.5 overs to effectively put the match to bed.

The scores: Shivamogga Yodhas 113/8 in 17 overs lost to Coastal Kings Manguluru 118/2 in 12.4 overs (M. Venkatesh 45).
