Bengaluru: Magnet Hospitals has launched the ‘Golden Hour Recognition’ campaign ahead of Emergency Nurses Day in Bengaluru.
The campaign highlights the life-saving importance of the first 60 minutes after a medical emergency and seeks to recognise the contribution of emergency nurses during this critical period.
According to Magnet Hospitals, emergency nurses are often the first clinical point of contact for patients, and the quality of their initial assessment and response can shape the course of subsequent care.
“Their work often goes unseen: triaging, stabilising and communicating with anxious families, all under pressure,” the hospital said.
Dinesh Madhavan, Managing Director, Magnet Hospitals, said, “By telling the story of the first hour through the voices of those who live it, Magnet Hospitals aims to build public awareness of the value of timely emergency care and reinforce its commitment to a model in which nurses are leaders and stakeholders, not only caregivers.”
