Lucknow: A Rs 20.15 crore proposal to expand the Arts College of Lucknow University (LU) has been submitted to the state govt.

The proposal includes construction of new academic buildings, a dedicated exhibition hall, staff quarters, new hostels for boys and girls, and revival of key sections such as sculpture, photography and crafts.

Principal Ratan Kumar said, “Recently, the issue of renovation of Arts College was raised in the legislative assembly by a member, considering its historical and cultural importance.”

“The proposal, if approved, will help improve academic infrastructure and provide better facilities for students across departments. It will support both academic growth and overall student development at the arts college,” said Kumar.
