Keonjhar: Local staged a protest in Putulia village under Patna police station limits on Monday when the administration started demolishing houses on an encroached plot to make way for construction of JMFC court building.The administration, in the presence of magistrate Rabi Shankar Hembram, additional tehsildar demolished three houses that included a broiler farm, one-tiled house and one tin-roofed house. During the protest, women came in front of the JCB vehicle despite police deployment. “Three acres and 48 decimals of land are required from the JMFC court. Notice was issued to encroachers earlier as per the law,” said Patna tehsildar Ashwani Kumar Nayak.
