Ahmedabad: Some parts of the city received light rain on Saturday, even as several regions of the state saw light to moderate showers.The city’s maximum temperature was 34.9°C, 1.2 degrees above normal. The minimum was 27.5°C, 1.3 degrees above normal. Relative humidity stood at 71% at 8.30am and 53% at 5.30pm.Ukai in Tapi recorded 35mm rainfall till 8pm, followed by Nanapondha in Valsad (26mm), Dharampur in Valsad (25mm), Ankleshwar in Bharuch and Khergam in Navsari (24mm each), and Chikhli in Navsari (23mm). In all, 74 talukas across Gujarat received 1mm or more rainfall.Light to moderate rain is expected across the state over the next seven days, concentrated mainly in south Gujarat and Saurashtra. Maximum temperatures on Saturday ranged between 31°C and 35°C in most cities and towns across the state.
