New Delhi: Life-time memberships to Delhi Development Authority’s (DDA) Sector 24 Golf Course will be thrown open Tuesday.DDA is offering 850 memberships across govt and non-govt categories for the first time. Online applications can be submitted for two months.“The Golf Course till now had only been offering tenure memberships for a limited period. Lieutenant governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu had instructed DDA to offer lifetime membership for the Dwarka Golf Course to inculcate a sense of belongingness to the complex amongst its members,” a statement issued by DDA said.Of the 850 lifetime memberships, 250 will be under the govt category and 600 under the non-govt category. The lifetime membership fee is Rs 3.5 lakh for the govt category and Rs 7.5 lakh for the non-govt category,” officials said.Three- and five-year membership options are also available for the non-govt category, priced at Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 4.5 lakh, respectively.The Dwarka Golf Course was inaugurated in 2024 and is the country’s longest golf course. The 18-hole golf course is spread across 7,377 yards and has large greens spread over 158 acres. Besides, it has a driving range of 375 yards. It has a swimming pool, clubhouse facilities, including a restaurant, snack kiosks, cafeteria, conference hall, multi-purpose hall and other facilities.Applicants have to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2,500. Following scrutiny of applications, successful applicants will be required to deposit the applicable membership fee online within 30 days.
