Srinagar, Mar 26 : Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for releasing ₹5,000 crore as additional central assistance to the Union Territory.
In a post on X, Sinha said the financial support would help consolidate the fiscal condition of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said the assistance would ease budgetary constraints, ensure timely completion of projects and boost economic growth by strengthening infrastructure and creating opportunities for sustained development.(KNS).
