Srinagar, Jul 25: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday chaired a high-level meeting with Camp Directors and senior officers to review ongoing repair and restoration work along the Amarnath Yatra tracks following recent heavy rainfall.
In a post on X, the LG said executing agencies and officials had been directed to expedite restoration work and prioritise vulnerable areas prone to mudslides and shooting stones.
He said directions had also been issued to strengthen Mountain Rescue Teams, proactively share real-time weather updates and ensure that essential amenities and services remain fully operational.
