Srinagar, Sep 14: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday expressed grief over a tragic road accident in Reasi district in which two people were killed and five others injured.
The accident occurred when a passenger minibus met with an accident on the Reasi-Bakal road near the Batalgala Tunnel on Monday.
In his condolence message, the Lieutenant Governor said, “Deeply pained to learn about the loss of precious lives in a tragic road accident in Reasi. My deepest condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for speedy recovery of the injured.”
CM Abdullah also expressed deep grief over the loss of lives and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, while directing the authorities to ensure the best possible medical care for those injured.
