Kanpur: Advocates in Kanpur stayed away from court work on Wednesday, following a decision taken at a state-level meeting of lawyers held on Sept 10 and 11. According to Kanpur Bar Association general secretary Vinay Kumar Mishra and Lawyers Association general secretary Rajiv Yadav, lawyers across Uttar Pradesh will observe a strike every Wednesday. Due to the strike, litigants had to return home after getting new dates for their cases.
