Jaipur: Rajasthan’s education department will begin the enrolment drive for the 2026-27 academic session with a Mega PTM and parent-anganwadi meeting Wednesday. The drive will be held in four phases starting March 25, April 6, April 10 and April 15. Each phase will run for four days. The academic session will begin on April 1, and the department expects the early start to help raise enrolment.Officials said the parent-teacher and parent-anganwadi meetings are being held on the same day to ensure children from anganwadi centres are admitted to schools and existing students do not drop out before moving to the next class.“Each phase will continue for four days, wherein 25% of the teaching staff from every school and administrative staff from the education department will go door-to-door to identify children eligible for admission,” a senior official said. After declaration of Class 10 board exam results Tuesday, teachers have been asked to focus on ensuring students who passed enrol in Class 11, officials said.A health survey of all students will also begin April 16, officials said.
