After the argument, Naskar lay low for a couple of days and then, took his chance on Monday night,” said an investigating officer. He added that while Naskar confessed to his crime, he hardly showed any remorse or guilt about the entire episode.Cops are likely to use the gait pattern technology to establish the presence of the accused in the earlier cases. Police are also trying to recreate the crime scenes and are planning to take Naskar to these locations for further investigations. The body of the Sarat Bose Road victim, Somnath alias Bumba, a resident of Dakghar in Maheshtala, who used to do odd jobs in south Kolkata, was discovered by a tea stall owner, Sudhir Giri, on Tuesday morning outside Sudesh Bhawan on Sarat Bose Road.
