Srinagar: The Lal Chowk Shopkeepers & Traders Association has extended a warm welcome to guests arriving in Kashmir for the Film Festival, inviting visitors to explore the historic commercial hub of Srinagar and experience the region’s vibrant culture and hospitality.
As part of the welcome initiative, participating shops across Lal Chowk and adjoining markets are offering a special 30 per cent discount to Film Festival guests.
The association has encouraged visitors to explore some of the city’s prominent shopping destinations, including Polo View Market, Ghanta Ghar, Regal Chowk, Abi Guzar and Lambert Lane, besides other bustling markets in and around Lal Chowk.
The initiative aims to give Film Festival visitors an opportunity to experience Kashmir beyond its scenic landscapes by engaging with local traders, artisans and businesses and discovering the region’s traditional crafts, flavours and products.
“We invite you to explore the vibrant shopping destinations of Lal Chowk,” the association said, while highlighting the warmth and hospitality of local traders.
