“I entered Narkeldanga Police Station to save my life, not lodge any police complaint. I was followed from my residence by bike-borne BJP miscreants. They blocked our vehicle’s path and attacked my vehicle and me with arms. One miscreant used hammer and broke the front glass of my vehicle. BJP is trying to kill me and the police was silent,” Ghosh claimed while entering Narkeldanga Police Station.
“My security personnel has to bring out his revolver to protect me and then only the miscreant left. It all happened in broad daylight, when I started from my residence for a non-political programme,” Ghosh claimed.
Ghosh claimed he had a narrow escape by entering Narkeldanga Police Station, pointing fingers towards “armed BJP miscreants who attempted to kill him”.
Ghosh alleged that the attacks on him today and yesterday were carried out by “BJP, who are attempting to kill him.”
BJP spokesperson Debjit Sarkar said, “Why will BJP attack Kunal Ghosh’s vehicle when the Trinamool Congress party has become non-existent.”
