Mysuru: A day after the state higher education department froze its bank accounts, KSOU VC Sharanappa V Halase stated that he will approach the governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot, who is the chancellor of the varsity, indicating his intention to take the fight to the state govt.When reporters tried to question him about the developments in the varsity in the wake of the state govt’s tough action of freezing the accounts and about the controversy surrounding the Ekatma Manav Darshan, the international academic conference at KSOU convocation hall, he said he will seek the Governor’s suggestions but did not take any other questions.“When the bank accounts are frozen, it is difficult to run the day-to-day administration, and pay salary and other expenses,” he said.Meanwhile, the KSOU authorities are tight-lipped about the developments.
