Kolkata: Kilburn Engineering has appointed Amritanshu Khaitan as non-executive chairman of its board, effective April 21, 2026, following the completion of the term of current independent chairman Manmohan Singh.Amritanshu, who was previously a director at the company, belongs to the promoter group. The development comes after Aditya Khaitan, chairman of Mcleod Russel, recently resigned as a director in Kilburn, while Amritanshu stepped down from the tea company.Kilburn, along with its subsidiaries, closed FY2026 with order bookings of approximately Rs 600 crore. The company is witnessing a robust enquiry pipeline of over Rs 4,000 crore for FY2027 and is targeting order inflows exceeding Rs 800 crore during the year.Commenting on his appointment, Amritanshu Khaitan said, “I have been privileged to be part of Kilburn’s transformation journey over the past few years, and this transition reflects continuity in that progress. We have concluded FY2026 on a firm footing, supported by healthy order inflows and steadily improving financial performance, which positions us well for the next phase of growth.”
