Prayagraj: A hoax call about kidnapping of a 20-year-old woman was received by police in the trans-Yamuna locality on Friday. After more than two hours the police were able to trace the woman and found that she was with her boyfriend. The woman admitted that she went with her boyfriend and married him at a local temple.Police said that a man informed Manda police that his daughter was kidnapped by some car-borne miscreants. After registering an FIR the police formed three teams to track the car.After two hours of hard work the police were able to trace the woman and found that she had married her boyfriend. Their marriage was solemnised at a temple on Friday itself. The cops recorded the woman’s statements and would produce her before the concerned court.Earlier, as the news of the kidnapping spread, locals blocked vehicular movement and demanded that cops to rescue the young woman.
