BENGALURU: Launching a reinvestigation into a three-month-old case where a six-year-old-girl had died under mysterious circumstances, cops registered murdered case against the victim’s mother and her boyfriend. The incident had taken place in Seegehalli in Kadugodi. On March 24, P Vennela, second daughter of Praveen-Priyanka couple had died and Priyanka had told Praveen that Vennla had eaten biryani and ice cream, after which she made her sleep inside the car with AC on, resulting in the death. Praveen runs the Cloud9 school in Davanagere district of Karnataka, while Priyanka is an advocate. However, according to Praveen’s police complaint, Priyanka is living with her collegemate and realtor G Mohan.Not believing her, Praveen had sent the medical reports and the autopsy report of Vennela to his elder sister abroad. The doctor had expressed doubt over the death and based on the same, Praveen lodged a complaint with Kadugodi police, stating, Priyanka and Mohan, kicked on Vennela’s stomach and smothered her to death. Registering a murder case, cops arrested Priyanka’s boyfriend Mohan and launched a manhunt for Priyanka, who is elusive.
