Jammu, Sep 29: BJP senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Gulam Ali Khatana highlighted the role of technology and the digital revolution in creating new opportunities for the younger generation during the continuation of the “Jan Seva Se Desh Seva” programme at Higher Secondary School, Bhour Camp.
The programme aims to engage students and local communities in educational, cultural and creative activities and create awareness about development and welfare initiatives.
Students participated in debates, painting competitions and other activities focused on India’s development, technological progress and the vision of a “Viksit Bharat”.
Addressing the gathering, Khatana said India had witnessed changes in sectors including digital technology, clean energy, startups, electric mobility, manufacturing and exports. He also highlighted developments in the space sector and the country’s growing technological capabilities.
Khatana urged students to make use of the opportunities available to them and contribute to the country’s development. He said the younger generation had an important role in shaping India’s future.
School Principal Kuldeep Kumar and several local representatives and community members were also present on the occasion.
