Gaya: An AI-powered digital teaching demonstration device developed by DhananjayDheeraj, head of the education department at Gaya College, has been granted a patent by the Govt of India.Dheeraj said the device is designed to make classroom teaching more interactive, effective and easier to understand. It can help teachers explain complex subjects and concepts in a clearer manner, improving student engagement and comprehension.He said the innovation, developed for self-financed courses running in universities across the state, aims to support the transition from conventional teacher-centric classrooms to a more student-centric learning model. The device is expected to promote greater interaction between teachers and students while encouraging active participation, feedback and self-assessment among learners.According to Dheeraj, the device can also be integrated with smart-classroom technology to provide real-time feedback, automated learning analytics and personalised learning support based on students’ needs.Gaya College principal ProfSatishSinghChandra, bursar ProfMarkandeyPandey, and former Magadh University vice-chancellor ProfKusumKumari congratulated Dheeraj on the achievement.
