Times News NetworkKanpur: The district administration on Wednesday organized a Tiranga Mela at Moti Jheel Lawn . MLC Salil Bishnoi inaugurated the Mela in which stalls featuring various indigenous products including Khadi, items made by self-help groups, leather goods, beauty and decorative products have been set up. This fair will continue until August 15.People showed special interest in the Khadi stall. MLC Salil Vishnoi on this occasion said, “Tiranga Mela is an effective medium for strengthening the spirit of patriotism while providing a market for local artisans, Khadi products, and self-help groups”. He appealed to the city’s residents to visit the fair, purchase indigenous products, and encourage local producers.
