Kanpur: A 10-day division-level Khadi and village industry products exhibition was inaugurated by minister for MSME, Khadi and village industries Rakesh Sachan at Brijendra Swarup Park in Kanpur on Tuesday.Around 105 vendors from different states such as Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh displayed their products. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the minister said, “Khadi is not just a cloth but a thought. PM Modi had given a slogan that Khadi for fashion and Khadi for nation.” He urged people to visit the exhibition in large number and purchase the products prepared by the village industries.
