T’puram: Nemom police on Wednesday arrested prime accused in the seizure of 325kg of ganja from Pappanamcode.The accused, Harikrishnan (33), of Thirumala, was taken into custody from Chennai MGR central railway station while attempting to travel to Himachal Pradesh. He had been hiding in Visakhapatnam.Police said Harikrishnan is a repeat offender with a history of drug trafficking. He had earlier been arrested in a case involving 400kg of ganja and faces multiple narcotics cases in Kerala and Karnataka. His associate Alan, of Poojappura, was recently arrested by Odisha police in possession of hashish oil worth Rs 240 crore, indicating the scale of network. TNN
