BJP Candidates List: Keralam Assembly Elections 2026: The BJP has announced its first list of 47 candidates, featuring key leaders such as K Surendran, Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday released the first list of 47 candidates for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections. The voting is set to take place on April 9 and the results will be announced on May 4.

The list has several prominent leaders, including Kerala BJP president K Surendran, who has been fielded from Manjeshwar, and senior party leader Sobha Surendran from Palakkad. The list also includes Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar, contesting from Nemom, and Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan, who will contest from Kazhakootam.

Former Congress leader Padmaja Venugopal, daughter of veteran Congress leader K. Karunakaran, has been fielded from Thrissur. Other well-known names include retired Army officer and filmmaker Major Ravi from Ottappalam, veteran politician PC George from Poonjar, and Union Minister George Kurian from Kanjirappally. These candidates are among the key figures in the party’s lineup for the upcoming polls.
