Ahmedabad: The IRCTC West Zone, Ahmedabad, has announced a Keralam tour package under ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ initiative for travellers from Gujarat. The tour will depart from Ahmedabad by flight on Sep 13 to Kochi or Thiruvananthapuram, and return to Ahmedabad on Sep 18.The itinerary includes visits to Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom, and Thiruvananthapuram, with a planned stop at the Shri Padmanabhaswamy Temple. IRCTC will provide arrangements throughout the journey, including hotel accommodation, local transport, breakfast, and dinner.Sharing details of the package, IRCTC West Zone spokesperson Jitendra Kumar Jayante said the main objective of the tour is to introduce people to India’s cultural diversity and natural beauty through structured travel experiences. The cost of the Keralam tour is fixed at Rs 49,700 per person.IRCTC has also extended the option to avail LTC benefits for eligible travellers.Bookings for the tour have begun. The ‘Book packages through EMI’ facility is available only for online bookings via IRCTC’s tourism portal at www.irctctourism.com.
