T’puram: Kerala Postal Circle is launching a reel contest, ‘Omana Makal’, in connection with International Women’s Day.The contest aims to promote awareness about Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, a financial security scheme for girl child. The contest will be held on Instagram and Facebook until Saturday. With the hashtag #OmanaMakal, the contest invites families across Kerala to create and share Malayalam reels highlighting the benefits of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. The contest is open to families with girl children below 10 years of age. Winners will receive digital certificates, cash prizes and recognition on official social media platforms. Through this campaign, Kerala Postal Circle aims to celebrate daughters while strengthening financial inclusion and women empowerment.
