Bengaluru: Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan has announced assets worth Rs 1 crore in his affidavit before the election commission. This includes both his movable and immovable assets.
Vijayan is seeking re-election from Dharmadom in Kannur district, where he filed his nomination papers as LDF candidate on Thursday.
His wife Kamala Thayikandiyil has declared assets of about Rs 90 lakh. He is also pursuing an appeal in a CBI case in the apex court.
The CM’s earnings have risen by about 85% between 2020-21 and 2024-25. The CM has also declared a cash balance of Rs 10,000 in his possession.
