Your polling booth is usually set up at a nearby school or government building. You can check the exact location on your Voter Information Slip or through the Voter Helpline App.

4. At the polling station
The first polling officer will verify your name and ID. The second officer will mark your finger with indelible ink and take your signature or thumb impression. The third officer will activate the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM)
5. Cast your vote
Go inside the voting compartment and press the button next to your chosen candidate’s symbol on the EVM. You will hear a beep confirming your vote, and a slip will briefly appear in the VVPAT window.
