Prayagraj: Kaushambi police on Wednesday arrested a 30‑year‑old man for allegedly pouring hot oil on his wife following a domestic dispute.The victim, Vijay Laxmi, in a complaint lodged at Mahevaghat police station on Tuesday, alleged that her husband, Vinay Kumar Raidas of Kashirampur village, frequently argued with her over domestic issues.She alleged that on Monday, Raidas poured hot oil on her with the intent to kill her, resulting in burn injuries to her face and other parts of the body.Following the complaint, police registered an FIR against the accused and subsequently arrested him, officials said.
