Kanpur: Saurav Jha of Kanpur Nagar and Garima Yadav of Kanpur Dehat emerged as the fastest male and female bowlers, respectively, at the two-day speed hunt camp organised by the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA), which concluded at Kamla Club on Thursday.Saurav recorded the highest bowling speed of 138 kmph, while Garima topped the women’s category with a delivery clocked at 108 kmph.According to Mohammad Ahmad Talib, a member of the UPCA media committee, a total of 458 bowlers, including boys and girls, participated on the second day of the talent identification camp.The speed hunt was organised to identify promising fast-bowling talent from across the region and provide them with opportunities to progress through the UPCA’s player development pathway.
