Guwahati: Live streaming of Pariksha Pe Charcha in Kamrup (Metro) schools has provided students, teachers and parents with a platform to transform examinations, stress management and related aspects of life into a celebration of learning.Pariksha Pe Charcha is an interactive initiative of the PM Modi and over the years it has emerged as a favourite among students, encouraging them to approach examinations with confidence, and to celebrate it as an ‘utsav’. The ninth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha was organised in schools on Friday, where the PM interacted with students, teachers and parents from across the country.
The live stream, which was screened across 558 schools in Kamrup (Metro) district, saw participation from 49,502 students and 4,911 teachers. Registration was done on the Pariksha Pe Charcha portal for 1.2 lakh students and 10,000 teachers, including those from Guwahati city areas.Kamrup (Metro) inspector of schools, Dipika Choudhury said, “Pariksha Pe Charcha registration was successfully carried out in all ME, secondary and senior secondary schools in Kamrup Metro and after the registration, different activities like rallies, nukad natak and processions were held in the schools.” A district-level quiz competition was also organised by KV Khanapara.
