Kolkata: The founder of Aam Janata Unnayan Party, Humayun Kabir on Wednesday announced a fresh list of candidates ahead of the Assembly elections and clarified the two seats from which he will contest.Kabir declared that he will enter the fray from Rejinagar and Naoda in Murshidabad. He said he will not contest from Beldanga, despite earlier indications. There were speculations over whether he would seek re-election from Bharatpur, his home constituency, but by Wednesday afternoon he appeared to have stepped back from that possibility.The party announced nine candidates in its first phase and four more for seats in Malda district in the second phase. He said the party’s full candidate list will be released on March 22.
