Hubballi: Education department, Dharwad, has launched ‘Jnana Sinchana’, from Feb 16 to 25, a phone-in programme with 43 subject experts taking calls from SSLC students and help them clear doubts ahead of the examination. Officials said many students benefited last year and added that the initiative would help them write the exam confidently. The programme covers govt, aided and unaided high schools. It will be held on Feb 16, 18, 20, 23 and 25, from 3pm to 5pm. Experts’ personal numbers have been displayed in all high schools, and schools were told to encourage students to call. SM Hudedamani, deputy project coordinator, Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, said the focus will be on mathematics, science and language subjects and urged students to take advantage of the service. Nafisa Banu Dawalasaab, education officer and SSLC nodal officer, said that over 500 children called last year and had their doubts clarified.
