Srinagar, Feb 27: J&K moved closer to a historic Ranji Trophy title as they stretched their overall lead to 410 runs by the third session on Day 4 against Karnataka.

After posting a massive 584 in their first innings, J&K bowled out Karnataka for 293 in 93.3 overs, securing a commanding first innings lead. The bowlers maintained discipline and ensured Karnataka never fully recovered despite brief resistance in the middle order.

In their second innings, J&K reached 119 for 3 in 33 overs. Qamran Iqbal led the charge with a steady unbeaten 55 off 92 balls, striking six boundaries. Abdul Samad supported him with a brisk 26 not out, adding momentum in the afternoon session.

With wickets in hand and a huge lead already in place, J&K are firmly in control. A strong push on the final day could seal a memorable victory in their maiden Ranji final appearance.
