Jammu , Feb 22: J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides celebrated the 100th World Thinking Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and spirit at its State Headquarters, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, on 22nd February 2025.

According to a statement issued here, the programme was organised under the dynamic leadership of Mtr. Nasreen Khan, State Secretary-cum-Administrative Officer. The celebration witnessed the active participation of Scouts, Guides, Rovers, Rangers, and staff members who gathered to mark this significant global Scouting event.

World Thinking Day is observed every year on 22nd February by members of the World Organization of the Scout Movement and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. The day is dedicated to reflecting on the values of Scouting and Guiding, promoting international friendship, and strengthening the spirit of unity among young people across the world.

During the celebration, a special assembly (All Faith Prayer) was conducted, highlighting the importance of the day, followed by inspirational speeches emphasizing the principles of “Service Before Self,” leadership, and community service. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to the Scout and Guide Promise and Law and pledged to contribute positively towards society.

This year, the celebration was held under the theme “Friendship.” Scouts and Guides threw light on the significance of the occasion and highlighted the importance of Global Brotherhood/Sisterhood, Unity, and Service.
