Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co has appointed Jithin M. George as a partner in its Intellectual Property (IP) practice, with effect from 12 October 2026. With this appointment, the firm now has 194 Partners within a team of more than 1,000 lawyers.
George is an IP litigation specialist with over 12 years of experience handling complex trademark, copyright, geographical indication (GI) and technology-related disputes for multinational and domestic clients. He regularly appears before the Delhi High Court, district courts and other judicial forums across India in infringement, passing-off, rectification and appellate proceedings.
George joins SAM from K&S Partners, where he spent over seven years leading litigation strategy and case management in high-value contentious matters.
George advises clients on enforcement strategy, settlement negotiations, dispute-risk management and IP portfolio protection, and is known for mentoring associates on drafting, case strategy and courtroom advocacy.
