Position Overview
Luxury Sales, Clienteling & Client Relations
This is a dynamic, customer-facing role that combines luxuryretail sales, clienteling, POS and showroom operations, and event support. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, proactive, and excited to contribute to the growth of a small woman-owned luxury brand.
Key Responsibilities
•⁠  ⁠Deliver exceptional in-store and virtual customer experiences.
•⁠  ⁠Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients, collectors, and VIP customers.
•⁠  ⁠Drive retail sales goals through both in-store selling and proactive clienteling efforts.
•⁠  ⁠Assist customers in product selection, sizing, styling and special orders
•⁠  ⁠Process online and in-store sales, exchanges and repairs.
•⁠  ⁠Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer service issues as they arise.
•⁠  ⁠Develop a strong understanding of customer preferences and purchase history to provide personalized recommendations and cultivate repeat business.
•⁠  ⁠Develop a thorough knowledge of the Jill Platner collection, craftsmanship, and brand story.
Operations, Inventory & E-Commerce
•⁠ Support the day-to-day operations of the showroom.
•⁠ Maintain accurate product information, pricing, inventory levels, and customer records across all areas of the POS system (Shopify).
•⁠ Coordinate order fulfillment, shipping, and communication between customers and the production team.
•⁠ Maintain showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards, both in-store and online.
•⁠ Provide support for sales and marketing initiatives as needed (ie: social media content, photography, event materials, basic graphic design projects).
Events & Showroom Support
•⁠ Assist with trunk shows, events, and special projects.
•⁠ Support event preparation, setup, breakdown, and day-of event execution.
•⁠ Assist with event outreach and invitation efforts as directed.
Qualifications
•⁠ 2+ years of experience in luxury retail, fashion, jewelry, hospitality, gallery, or another customer-facing environment.
•⁠ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•⁠ A natural ability to build relationships and create memorable customer experiences.
•⁠ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•⁠ Ability to self-start, working both independently and as part of a team.
•⁠ Comfortable balancing customer-facing sales responsibilities with operational and administrative tasks.
•⁠ Experience with Shopify (or similar retail POS) and/or CRM platforms.
•⁠ Weekend availability is required.
