Ranchi: The Jharkhand high court on Thursday directed the state govt to reply to a petition challenging the cancellation of the assistant public prosecutor (APP) appointment examinations. The HC refused to grant a stay in the matter and will hear it again on Sept 24. The petitioners, Satyam Shubham, Sanjana Singh and others moved the HC after the APP examinations were cancelled by the govt on Aug 18. The petitioners pleaded that cancellation of the examinations would hamper their studies and their future will be at stake.
