Patna: Jan Suraaj’s election campaign committee convener Sudhir Sharma, former Congress MLC Vinod Singh among others joined the BJP on Wednesday ahead of the Bankipur assembly byelection on July 30.Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor is contesting against BJP’s Neeraj Kumar Sinha and RJD’s Rekha Gupta among other candidates in the fray.BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi welcomed the new entrants. He said the entire nation stands with the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “People from all sections of society are continuously joining the BJP, inspired by PM Modi’s public welfare policies, his leadership dedicated to the national interest, and the development initiatives undertaken by the NDA govts at both the Centre and in Bihar,” Saraogi said.Sudhir said it’s time to strengthen PM Modi’s hands to defeat the forces who want to create chaos and anarchy in the country. Among others who joined the BJP were former Congress MLC candidate Sushant Kumar Singh and educationist-cum-social worker Jiteshwar Singh.
