Srinagar, Aug 4: Jammu and Kashmir Finance and Accounts Society (JAKFAS) on Tuesday expressed gratitude to Chief Secretary, J&K Atal Dulloo and Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department, Shailendra Kumar for facilitating the promotion of officers of Jammu and Kashmir Finance and Accounts Service.
In a statement issued by Rashim Deepika Razdan, President JAKFAS, the society stated that this landmark decision has fulfilled a long-pending aspirations of the Finance and Accounts fraternity.
The promotions have addressed prolonged stagnation in the cadre and have significantly boosted the morale of officers, reaffirming their faith in a transparent and responsive administrative system.
JAKFAS acknowledged that the timely intervention, encouragement, and unwavering support extended by Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner were instrumental in bringing the matter to its logical conclusion.
The Society also appreciated the sensitivity and commitment displayed by the leadership of the Finance Department in recognizing the legitimate career progression of the officers.
