Hyderabad: Telangana Congress working president T Jagga Reddy on Saturday appealed to the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder and its supporters to compare the 11-year rule of Narendra Modi govt and Congress party rule from Jawaharlal Nehru onwards, and decide which is the best for the country. The CJP, launched online by former political strategist Abhijit Dipke has attracted 18 million followers on social media. Jagga Reddy said former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi of the Congress is considered the architect of modern technology in India, especially in Science, IT and Telecom.“The CJP was born on social media, the modern technology. If it wants to protect the Constitution and the country, it should support and join hands with Rahul Gandhi,” Jagga Reddy told a media conference at Gandhi Bhavan.“The BJP has been winning the elections by using religion and using the names of Gods and also with fraudulent votes. Now they are using the name of Lord Rama. If not Lord Rama, they will start using the name of Lord Krishna to win the elections. People should realise the deception of the BJP,” he said.Giving his own example, Jagga Reddy said every year he performs Srirama Kalyanam on a grand scale in Sangareddy. “For two decades, I have been performing the event. But I have never used Lord Rama’s name to seek votes in Sangareddy, my assembly constituency,” he said.He also brushed aside claims of development by the BJP govt at the Centre and stated that the debt was ₹54 lakh crore when BJP came into govt at the centre. But as of date, the debt has crossed ₹147 lakh crore. “The people of this country should take notice of these facts and realise that Rahul Gandhi should become PM and the Congress should win at least 300 seats to save the Constitution and the country,” he said.
